Seasons Of Life
Life has seasons, and right now, I’m definitely in one of the busier ones.
Between chasing a very active three-year-old and juggling a growing photography business, my days feel full in the most beautiful, chaotic way.
For those who don’t know, I started out as a full-time real estate agent. It was a fast-paced, high-stress career. But when I had my son in 2021, everything changed. Suddenly, I craved something slower, something more meaningful that would allow me to be present for all the little moments of motherhood; first words, early steps, sleepy cuddles. That’s when I began to unfold a lifelong love: photography.
It’s wild to think I’ve now been behind the camera professionally for three years. What started as a side dream quickly became a business I pour my heart into. I’ve documented intimate elopements with just the couple and a mountain view, and I’ve been part of big, wild wedding celebrations that could rival a concert.
And yes, I still sell real estate, but not at the same pace I once did. Instead of managing 25 homes a year, I now handle around 7 to 10. It’s a pace that allows me to stay connected to that world while still making time for my family and creative passions. I’ve found a balance that works, and that’s something I’m deeply grateful for.

One of the biggest joys of this new chapter has been the incredible variety of moments I’ve had the honor of documenting. I’ve met sweet newborns and watched couples step into parenthood; whether it was their first, second, or third child. I’ve witnessed the triumphant joy of families who prayed for years to hold a baby in their arms and finally, their prayers were answered. I’ve been asked to capture final photos of a beloved grandparent, or a cherished family pet in their last days. From celebrating new life to honoring loved ones in their final chapters, I truly love it all and every in-between moment.
And kids? They’re probably my favorite. There’s just something about the raw honesty and joy they bring. I’ve sung “Wheels on the Bus” more times than I can count, played endless games of peek-a-boo, and made silly faces just to catch that one magical, genuine smile. Those little victories are the heartbeats of my work.
Photography, in many ways, has become my grounding space. It’s allowed me to blend creativity and connection in a way that feels natural and soul-filling. I’ve been there for tearful vows, belly laughs, and first dances, baby blow-outs, two year old tantrums, baby cuddles, new business launches... I’ve seen it all.

Like the wedding that started off completely normal… and ended with the police shutting it down. A fight broke out between family members (definitely not on the shot list), and let’s just say, it was one of those nights I’ll never forget. But I’ll save the full tea for another blog post. 😉
This chapter of life is so refining. I’m constantly learning—new lighting tricks, new locations, how to edit with a toddler in my lap, and how to run two businesses during nap time. It’s not always easy, but it is fulfilling.
Photography lets me be creative. It lets me serve people on some of the most important days of their lives. And most importantly, it lets me be there for my son as he grows up far too quickly.
To all the parents navigating careers, dreams, and little humans, this season is busy, but it’s beautiful too. Keep going. And take the picture… even if your kid is covered in peanut butter.
Thanks for being part of my journey. I’ll keep sharing stories.. camera in hand, heart wide open.
